Due to Google changing their search engine requirements and making websites that are mobile device friendly have a higher rating than other websites, I had my website completely redone. I know that many of you remember the website upgrade I did just one year ago, but this time Great Circle Studios took more of the creative initiative and they came up with some fantastic features.
Now all the basic Guiding Light features are still available like info about chartering, the daily blog, travel videos, and much more information….BUT they took the site as more of a travel guide type of website.
On the home page you will find 4 large pictures featuring different aspects of the website, and if you scroll down you will find a link to videos and the blog. Plus the tabs have been reorganized to better help you the reader find what you are looking for including putting the search bar back.
The really cool feature is under the destination tab. Here there is a world map and you click on where you want to go and the website will pull up anything I have posted about that area.
