Four weeks ago or so I did a YouTube Live video (every other Wednesday at 11am eastern time) showing how I make the best chocolate chip cookies. I ended up baking 8 dozen cookies and then I had all the boats stop by that evening and we had a cookie party!!!! 🙂
Would you believe within three days every single cookie was gone? I have a lot of boating friends that stopped by every now and then and snagged a cookie on the way. 🙂 Also, truth be told I probably ate two dozen of then myself. Haha
Anyways I wanted to help those of you out that wanted the recipe written down, so it is below. In the YouTube Live video (found below the recipe) I made double this amount. When my mom makes them she does eight times this amount. Haha. Enjoy.
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
• 1 Cups Crisco
• 3/4 Cups sugar
• 3/4 Cups brown sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1/2 Tbsp vanilla
• 2 1/2 Cups flour
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1 Packages (12 oz) chocolate chips
-Add everything to an extra-large bowl and mix together by hand.
-Put 12 balls of about an inch each on an air bake cookie sheet.
-Bake for 11 minutes at 375 degrees.
-Pull out of oven, but leave the cookies on the cookie sheet for 7 more minutes.
-Transfer to a cooling rack for 10 minutes and then place them into a sealed Tupperware.
-Will make 3-4 dozen depending on the size of the balls you make.
