Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres is a great beach

By August 17, 2021 No Comments

At the beginning of our Mexican tour, Lily and I took a day trip out to Isla Mujeres from Cancun and rented scooters. One of the places we stopped at was Playa Norte (or North Beach) at, you guessed it, the north end of the island. This place is super famous because it is shallow for a long ways (less than 10 feet deep a quarter mile from shore and less than 6 feet many hundreds of yards). Boats like to bring guests here and anchor during the day while shore side guests walk up and down the beach.

It is so much fun to play in the shallow water. While there we threw each other in the water, floated, played around, and simply had a blast!

Check out this video I made on Instagram. You can also find it on TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter (just click the link for each one). This is part of the travel video I put together on YouTube (click here to watch it) about our first week in Mexico.  It is called Beaches & Islands and is about Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Playa de Carmen, and Cozumel. It is has lots of info plus is lots of fun!!!!
