Have you even visited a real life leper colony? Well in Trinidad there is an island called Chacachacare that had a huge leper colony up until 1984 when it was abandonded. The cool part is that many of the structures are still standing in a ruined state and you can visit.
This photo is of the doctor’s house, which I found to be the most intact and most interesting to visit. If you come back tomorrow I am going to tell you all about the history of Chacachacare and what I found there.
