
The other day I took some guest to the Bubbly Pool on the east end of Jost Van Dyke and decided to tell you about it.
This adventure spot is created by a gap in the cliffs on the north shore. Water will rush in and crash over the rocks into an inverted bay. In the first photo you see where the water comes in and the second photo is a great aerial to show the whole thing.
Now I know it does not look like much is happening in these photos, but when the north swell is running good in the winter it can be rocking…as you can see below. Of course if the swell is too high this place is dangerous and during the summer it is not even worth the effort because there is no swell pounding into it.
