Now a days, in order to see the world you must have one thing….a passport. This official booklet from your country of citizenship is required to visit almost any other country.
If you come down to visit me aboard the Guiding Light and want to visit the BVI you must bring it with you and, as one of my guest found out, it needs to be current. His families passports expired a month before his trip, so I took him around St John instead. Of course this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as he found out how wonderful this gem of an island is.
Plus it is so much fun to add those wonderful stamps :).
