When this is the start and end of a trail it must be a good hike

Bar at the start of the piton trail

Petit Piton is one of the two famous peaks in the Piton Management Area on St Lucia. The entire area is a World Heritage site and you can hike either peak. It cost $20 if you go without a guide and only $5 if you go with one. Of course you have to pay the guide, but I figured it up and with 4 people the guide and fee will cost the same as the fee without the guide. Weird system, but it must get more of the guides work and that is a good thing.

Anyways, at the very begining of the trailhead is this little shack that is actually a bar. What a great way to start and finish the hike. 🙂
