The last couple days we have been exploring the Three Rivers Rum factory in Grenada and I bet you are wondering what happens to all that sugar cane after the juice has been squeezed out of it. Today’s photo of the day shows the cane piled up as tracks over it allow more and more spent cane to be dumped. This is done to help dry out the can so it can be used to burn in the fires needed to heat up and make the rum. Some of it is used as fertilizer.
