Still hanging out in Annapolis

By October 3, 2010 No Comments

For the last two weeks I have been hanging out with the other boats in my anchorage in Spa Creek. This is a great place as it is in the middle of Annapolis and you have access to all the sites and stores. Besides working on the boat I have visited the Naval Academy, gone out to dinner with friends, spent time at Lennie’s house, and visited Solomon’s Island to see speedboats practice for a big race (these boats can go up to 188 MPH).

This week the remains of tropical storm Nicole passed through the area. Fourteen inches of rain fell in less than 24 hours. The next morning I found a 7 day cooler filled with 3 cases of Coors Light floating less than 100 feet from the boat (score!!!!). Next weekend the annual Annapolis Boat Show happens and I am looking forward to it.
