Unfortunately the angle of the photo makes it look more protected than reality. With that said it does provide good protection in normal weather, but not what you would want when the northern swell is running.
Yesterday I told you how Steve and I drove over the mid island ridge and through the rainforest. Well this is the first bay we came too and it was quite the sight, but I must admit I enjoyed Englishman Bay much more. I will talk about it much more tomorrow.
