Make the chop go away

By December 5, 2010 No Comments

The constant chop at the exposed anchorage in Titusville was starting to get on my nerve, but I had to wait until a battery temperature sensor arrived.  On Thursday I motored 75 miles (all day) to Vero Beach, where they have $14 a day mooring balls in very protected water.  The caveat is that you have to raft up to other boats on the balls and the mooring field is tight.  I am tied to Phil & MaryAnne on Calypso (they have a 2007 42’ Manta for sale if anyone is interested).  Apparently this place is nick named Velcro Beach because people enjoy it and stay longer that they expected.
