As we are entering a new year, we wanted to look back on our year which included alot of travelling! We started by visiting some islands around the Carribbean starting with Sombrero Island, St. Barts, beautiful Antigua & Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, Statia, Saba, and Anguilla. I have just finished making travel videos for each and they are linked above.
After hauiling the boat out in July, I travelled to Turkey and we visited the ancient city of Troy and another ancient ruins on the Agean coast of Turkey called Assos. After here our next stop was Morocco where we spent almost 3 weeks exploring the entire country. If you are planning to visit Morocco you can find detailed information on my Morroco Travel Guide. We then crossed the Mediterranean to Spain and drove through, Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and Seville.
Our next stop was Portugal and we visited Faro, Lagos, Evora, Elvas, Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Coimbra, Aveiro, Guimares, Porto, and more. We then drove to a very little country called Andorra, it is a very good ski resort, but as it was not the season I still found some history, culture, and nature to explore. I wanted to make sure that we visit this little country before we enjoyed some fun time and historic site visits in Barcelona. We then flew to Italy from here and fell in love with Rome!
Our travels ended for this year as we got the boat ready for the up coming charter season, but I have already started making some plans for next year!
