That is right. There is a great brass sculpture of Alice in Wonderland that sculptured in 1959 by José de Creeft. It sits just inside the park near East 74th St. This is one of my favorite sculptures within Central Park and I love that kids are encouraged to climb on it and get involved with the wonderful story by Lewis Carroll.
