Cushions for your tushy

I finally got my new curtains up and am now ready to share my new solon photos with you.

Carol at Atlantic Canvas and Sail, here at Puerto Del Rey, did a fantastic job.  When I showed up in August she took measurements and showed me a large book of fabric samples.  My mom and aunt went through it and showed me two that they liked and I picked the one we used.  Of course it turns out the fabric I choose was now a private pattern and cost twice as much, but I thought it worked so well that I went ahead with it.  Carol replaced to foam on all the seat cushions and reused the back cushion foam.  It is so nice to sit down now since you bottom does not hit the fiberglass anymore.  After she had the foam trimmed she made the covers with the fabric I choose and then found a very complementary fabric in the same family to use for the new curtains.

The first picture is what the cushions looked like, while the second photo is me covering all the new cushions while I was working on other parts of the boat.  The third photo is the official unveiling with the new cushions, new curtains, and refinished table.

The final photo is of one of  the cabins, where all the mattresses have been  replaced with six inch, medium density, latex foam.  I was told the old one were comfy, but now I think they are a huge upgrade for my guest.

I can’t wait to have you aboard to show you all the new improvements, but right now I think I need a nap on my brand new cushions!  Just to test them out of course. J
