I met with the ladies at Flagship Charter Service, which is a charter clearing house where they can get me represented with several brokers. They liked the boat, but said I needed to “chick it up”. So I spent the week buying throw pillows, baskets, linen napkins, a tablecloth (the color I liked only came as a curtain so I added Velcro to get it wrapped around the table correctly), and new bedding (on order). I have to admit it does look cozier, what do you think (don’t forget you can leave comments on each post now)? I had a day charter yesterday and they seemed to respond well to the additions, so that is good.
Please go to the charter tab to read more about chartering. As far as sea sickness ginger works for some people as does dramamine. Others do well with wrist bands. It all depends on what works best for you. On a charter we are in protected waters and sailing only 2-4 hours at a time so it is not bad.
Your boat looks great. I like the colors you have chosen. The compliment your surroundings well. Do you publish a price scale for the trips you mentioned earlier?
What are your remedies for seasickness?
Thank you for the comments. It is funny about the silverware. Several other cruisers (including women) and I were discussing it to remember the correct setting. I will keep you note on file when I set it for guest. Thanks.
