Check out the pond in the cave on Gaspar Island

Gaspar Island cave with a pond

The very best part of the short tour we took over to Gaspar Island, across the bay from Chaguaramas in Trinidad, was going into a cave and finding this amazing pond. It is fed by the sea water through underground tunnels, so the water is nice and warm. On top of that there are spots where the ceiling has collapsed allowing natural sunlight to filter into the cave. It was such an awesome experience and you can read all about it in yesterday’s blog.

I hope you liked today’s “photo of the day” and I would love it if you FOLLOWED me on Instagram to see my other POTD and keep up with each new one. Thanks.
