Why would they name them the Blue Waterfalls?

By November 3, 2021 No Comments

The Cascades de Agua Azul (Blue Waterfalls) are considered waterfalls and declared a Biosphere Natural Reserve in 1980, they are formed from the tributaries of the Otulún, Shumuljá and Tulijá rivers, forming shallow canyons with vertical cliffs that give rise to their blue and white waterfalls. 😍

Even though the water was brown when we visited we were told they are an amazing shade of blue at other times of the year. Check out the video below to see this amazing waterfall and find out when you can see the blue water. Also you can rate my vine swinging form at the end of the short video.

When you watch do us a favor and share it. It really helps the Instagram algorithm. Thanks!
