NASA, NASA, Turkey, & NASA

By November 28, 2010 No Comments

After church (and a healthy breakfast of donuts) Dad and I went to NASA for the day. He had taken me when I was 8-10 so it was fun to go with him again and see all the changes. We had a lot of fun. On Monday I took him to the airport. I will miss him after being with him for a month straight.

On Tuesday Val and Kevin (from the Golden Fire Department) and Steph (she helped me bring the boat across the Gulf) took time out from Mickey World (Disney) and picked me up and we went to NASA. We ended up doing the Today & Tomorrow tour which was a lot of fun. They even came out to the boat for half an hour. The next night I rented a car and drove to their timeshare in Orlando so I could spend Thanksgiving with them and their families. It was a wonderful holiday (the best sweet potatoes ever!!!).

I went back to NASA with the crew of Sabbaticus (Kevin, Dena, & Connor) and Saturday morning they left so I stayed on the boat and hung out and put up my Christmas decorations (yea!!).

I did find out the shuttle launch has been pushed to December 17th, so I will start heading to Miami as soon as a battery temperature sensor gets here and maybe rent a car to come back up for the launch.
