Was sich hinter alledem verbirgt, empfehlen wir jedem selber zu entdecken – (We recommend for everyone to find out for themselves what we mean by all of this) Das WM Finale laesst sich wahrscheinlich nicht so leicht wiederholen. (The World Cup final is likely not so easy to repeat).  Goal Germany!

Visiting with a bunch of German relatives, we got a little confused in our vocabulary and took Shane by surprise when called his wonderful snorkeling trip awful but meant to say AWESOME.

How would you like to have your own personal trip planner, cook, snorkeling guide, Virgin Gorda never seen before trail guide, captain, camera man, turtle finder, and sailing instructor? Go out on the Guiding Light with Shane McClellan.

We have been on several other sailing trips before but this one topped all of them. The personal care and touch made our family trip wonderful. We very much appreciated having such a knowledgeable captain of the surrounding waters who knew exactly the right spots to take us but also took great care in tailoring our trip exactly to our desires.  Shane is very well organized, but also very flexible to accommodate our needs. Shane made a complete change in our route to allow us to see the World Cup soccer final in one of the only few bars with TV to see it in.  What German would miss the Argentina/Germany 2014 World Cup final???  We also very much appreciated the excellent condition of his boat which had no issues, his patience with kids, his no pressure to do whatever we want to do attitude, along with some wonderful dinners and fresh baked bread.  Our highlights included Shane’s “The Baths” trail, a lighted night dive with Tarpon, many great snorkel spots, several sailing lessons, and what our nine (9) year old niece said was the best part of the trip (a game of Farkle).  We were also surprised but delighted to have a first mate on board (Leala) who was just as gracious and accommodating as Shane.  I can’t wait to book another trip with Guiding Light but more importantly with Shane.
